In the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Asian and Southeast Asian collection a most engaging God as a left right changeling and with a missing arm. I did not intend to record this statue but to take a spontaneous portrait of it. The framing was for the photograph and not for the accuracy of the object. As a result I do not have the description of the work but will go back and get it and then post it later.
Lovely shot. I feel that you caught the quietness of a museum very well and I appreciated your description as it encouraged me to look even closer at the statue. I hadn't realized that it was missing an arm upon first glance nor that it was a left-right changeling.
It's very engaging and thank you for stopping to take a candid portrait of it to share, here!
