I don't want to seem clueless but what does "dof" mean in this context? Thanks for all your comments. I am so pleased to have you look carefully at my work.

I use this term for "depth of field" - in short DOF. The padlocks literally pop out, being very sharp.
I love it, you must have been using a bigger aperture.
